Technical parameters:

  • height: 870 mm
  • depth: 388, 488 or 588 mm
Installation:
  1. Spacers place them in the prepared positions at the top and bottom of the side panels.
  2. Always secure each end of the spacers with three screws according to the image below.

Then you can proceed with the installation of door hinges or drawer slides (the choice is entirely yours, but we recommend bearingball fullextension slides, with which the carcass was originally designed). You will clad the resulting unit with the selected material (plywood, planks, etc.) and attach the doors or drawer fronts. The construction is self-supporting, so you can choose a light and thin material for cladding, thus saving further weight from the total.

In case of higher expected load or use of thin cladding material, it is advisable to reinforce the carcass by adding constructal strips. These will also serve as the surface for attaching the lock or pull-latch handle in the case of drawers.

You can also use structural strips if our defined carcass dimensions do not suit you. You can simply replace the original spacers with strips, but in this case, it is necessary to reinforce the entire structure with additional strips.

Note:

When installing with the wall framework for MB Sprinter 2007–2018 (W906) / 2018+ (W907) / VW Crafter 2007–2017, do not install the upper rear spacer of the kitchen cabinet. The spacer would interfere with the longitudinal beam of the wall framework. For this type of kitchen cabinet carcass, the 3 standard spacers are sufficient, with additional reinforcement using construction beams if required.
